What People Are Saying About Us Online

I highly recommend Brick Industries for asbestos removal. Eric was informative, trustworthy, knowledgeable and hands-on during the successful asbestos removal process. They mobilized quickly upon discovering asbestos during a separate mold remediation process in my basement. They expedited permits and sent extra workers and worked over the weekend so that we could keep our mold removal timeline. Pricing was also very fair for their services. They went above and beyond. I highly recommend Brick Industries.
The whole team at Brick Industries did an outstanding job with the demolition of our home. Eric, Chris, & Susan were very communicative throughout the process and very responsive in answering my questions.
They are a local family business that I would definitely recommend them.
Eric was phenomenal in picking up and disposing of demolition materials in a timely manner. He was able to also accommodate multiple dumpster rentals for us and provided a local storage pod referral to facilitate a home clear out before moving. He was professional, reasonably priced and reliable. We are so grateful for his expertise! Highly recommend his services.
Chris and his crew did an amazing job doing a gentle demo on my house to prep for construction and preserve material for re-use. They are a solid operation that shows up and has pride of ownership of their work. They are creative problem solvers and you won’t find another crew that cares and helps you like these guys!
We had about 100 linear feet of ductwork covered in asbestos in a house we recently bought. We were not aware that this material was asbestos until an HVAC contractor came in to give us a quote for a new furnace.

We reached out to 3-4 asbestos abatement companies, and Eric reached back out immediately to set up a time to check things out. He worked with our schedule and advised us appropriately. Two of the other companies we looked into said they would need to remove all of the ductwork entirely, but Eric said they could get as much of it off the ducts as possible, so we went with him!

The work they completed was better than we anticipated - there does not seem to be a hint of asbestos anywhere on the ducts that we can see! We feel much safer and more comfortable with going into our basement now.

They were in and out in no time! Their pricing was competitive and honest. Eric was transparent with us throughout the process and he took the time to walk with us through the basement after the work was completed.
Eric took the time out of his day to give me free advice over the phone and steer me in the right direction on a project. He was super honest and forthcoming, I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him on future project.
These guys were great. Eric was very accommodating helpful. The job was scheduled within a few days of calling them and once they were here, it was quick and efficient. Eric also helped with some recommendations on what I should do with the room once the asbestos was gone. I would use them again.
We had an emergency situation and Eric came out quickly to assess the situation and helped to educate me in the process that was involved. They were very professional. Hopefully I never need to, but I would absolutely hire them again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Despite the high risk of asbestos exposure, the first signs may not manifest immediately and can take years or even decades to appear.

Symptoms can vary depending on the extent and duration of the individual’s exposure, but common early signs include persistent coughing, shortness of breath, chest pain, and fatigue.

Asbestos-related diseases such as asbestosis, lung cancer, and mesothelioma typically develop over time and can be challenging to diagnose in the early stages. Therefore, if you suspect you may have been exposed to asbestos, it’s best to seek medical attention promptly and inform your healthcare provider of any history of potential exposure.

The cost of an asbestos inspection can vary depending on several factors, including the size and complexity of the property, the number of samples collected, and the scope of the inspection.

On average, New Jersey homeowners can expect to pay anywhere from a few hundred to several thousand dollars for a comprehensive asbestos inspection. Additional costs may include laboratory testing fees for sample analysis and any necessary follow-up assessments or remediation work.

To learn what your asbestos testing fees might be, get in touch with our team. We’ll provide you with an upfront estimate based on your unique circumstances.

The duration of asbestos inspection and testing can vary depending on various factors, such as the size of the property, the number of samples collected, and laboratory processing times.

Typically, asbestos testing involves collecting material samples from suspected asbestos-containing materials and sending them to accredited laboratories for analysis. The testing process itself may take a few days to weeks, including sample transportation, analysis, and reporting.

Of course, turnaround times may vary among different testing companies and laboratories. We do our best to expedite the testing process as much as possible.

Asbestos inspections or testing should always be performed by certified professionals with expertise in asbestos identification and assessment.

At Brick Asbestos & Demolition, we have the required training, experience, and equipment to safely collect asbestos samples, conduct thorough inspections, and analyze materials for the presence of hazardous materials. This ensures accurate results and allows us to properly potentially dangerous materials.

We never recommend searching for, identifying, or treating asbestos-contaminated materials on your own due to the high risk of exposure and long-term health problems.

Asbestos testing is not explicitly required by law in New Jersey for residential properties unless they are undergoing renovation or demolition.

However, regulations may vary depending on the type of property and its intended use. Commercial buildings and certain public facilities may have specific asbestos inspection requirements outlined by federal, state, or local regulations.
