What People Are Saying About Us Online

Brick Asbestos & Demolition did an outstanding job demolishing a house and two outbuildings and removing lots of debris from an adjacent property I bought that I wanted to return to a natural state to expand my yard. This property had many trees and plants that I wanted protected during the demolition process. They did an excellent job and nothing was damaged. Notably, there was a full-sized catalpa tree literally inches from the barn that was removed. They removed the barn structure using only electric saws and manual labor to prevent any damage to the tree. Chris's communication and project management during the entire project was excellent. I felt like I had a true partner who understood my objectives. When he found about 20 bags of topsoil among the debris to be removed, he set those aside to spread them at the end along with top soil and wood chips to cover the back fill. They recycled everything that was recyclable in the house and on the grounds. I couldn't have been more pleased.
Great work from beginning to end. Extremely thorough & pleasure to deal with!
As we were in the final stages of closing on a new house we needed to have the asbestos discovered in our home inspection removed as soon as possible. Eric came out right away, quickly got us a quote, and then managed the state permit process to schedule the work for the first business day after we closed. The crew arrived right on schedule (early even) on the day and the work was done within a few hours. Great communication and follow up throughout the whole process, including the air testing piece that followed the removal. Brick Industries made a potentially stressful problem go away in a snap. Highly recommend.

Yes, asbestos removal in Point Pleasant, NJ, is often necessary for older homes built before the 1980s, when asbestos was widely used in insulation, flooring, siding, and ceilings. Brick Industries specializes in detecting and safely removing asbestos from aging properties, protecting homeowners from health hazards such as mesothelioma, lung cancer, and other asbestos-related illnesses.

Absolutely. Brick Asbestos & Demolition is a fully licensed demolition contractor and is licensed for asbestos abatement by the New Jersey Department of Labor Asbestos Control Program. Our licenses and insurance are always up to date and readily available for verification. This protection ensures you're covered in the event of any accidents, and our work complies with all New Jersey regulatory requirements. Before demolition begins, remove all personal belongings, furniture, and valuables from the structure. Disconnect and relocate any items you want to preserve, such as light fixtures, appliances, or architectural elements. Clear the area around the structure for equipment access - typically 15-20 feet on all sides. Notify neighbors of the scheduled work dates as a courtesy. Brick Asbestos & Demolition will handle the technical preparations including utility disconnections, permits, and safety measures. We'll provide you with a detailed preparation checklist during our planning phase and can recommend salvage companies if you want to recoup value from materials like hardwood flooring, fixtures, or brick.
