What People Are Saying About Us Online

We had a great experience with Eric & his family. He was professional, showed up on time every day with his crew, and kept the project on track without trying to nickel and dime us. We had limited knowledge about asbestos removal, so we really appreciated that he didn’t take advantage of that. No surprise charges or unnecessary upselling. We had some old appliances that he took out of the house and got rid of free of change.

We even added some additional demo work mid-project, and he was flexible and willing to accommodate the changes without issue. The drywall demo was done carefully, and the house was left spotless. We felt confident and well taken care of. We’ll definitely be calling them again when we’re ready to move forward with removing our siding.
Brick Asbestos & Demolition did an outstanding job demolishing a house and two outbuildings and removing lots of debris from an adjacent property I bought that I wanted to return to a natural state to expand my yard. This property had many trees and plants that I wanted protected during the demolition process. They did an excellent job and nothing was damaged. Notably, there was a full-sized catalpa tree literally inches from the barn that was removed. They removed the barn structure using only electric saws and manual labor to prevent any damage to the tree. Chris's communication and project management during the entire project was excellent. I felt like I had a true partner who understood my objectives. When he found about 20 bags of topsoil among the debris to be removed, he set those aside to spread them at the end along with top soil and wood chips to cover the back fill. They recycled everything that was recyclable in the house and on the grounds. I couldn't have been more pleased.
Great work from beginning to end. Extremely thorough & pleasure to deal with!

Frequently Asked Questions

First signs of asbestos exposure appear 10-40 years after initial contact, making early detection difficult. Common early symptoms include persistent coughing, shortness of breath, chest pain, and fatigue.

Asbestos-related diseases like asbestosis, lung cancer, and mesothelioma develop gradually over decades and are challenging to diagnose in early stages.

If you suspect asbestos exposure, seek medical attention immediately and inform your healthcare provider of any potential exposure history for proper evaluation and monitoring.

The cost of an asbestos inspection can vary depending on several factors, including the size and complexity of the property, the number of samples collected, and the scope of the inspection.

On average, New Jersey homeowners can expect to pay anywhere from a few hundred to several thousand dollars for a comprehensive asbestos inspection. Additional costs may include laboratory testing fees for sample analysis and any necessary follow-up assessments or remediation work.

To learn what your asbestos testing fees might be, get in touch with our team. We’ll provide you with an upfront estimate based on your unique circumstances.

Asbestos testing takes few days to weeks depending on property size, sample quantity, and laboratory processing times. The process involves collecting material samples from suspected asbestos-containing materials and sending them to accredited laboratories for analysis.

Testing includes sample transportation, laboratory analysis, and detailed reporting. Turnaround times vary among testing companies and laboratories, but Brick Asbestos & Demolition expedites the testing process whenever possible to minimize delays for New Jersey property owners.

Only certified professionals should perform asbestos inspections and testing due to severe health risks and safety requirements.

Brick Asbestos & Demolition has required training, experience, and specialized equipment to safely collect samples, conduct thorough inspections, and analyze materials for hazardous substances. This ensures accurate results and proper handling of potentially dangerous materials.

Never attempt DIY asbestos identification or testing due to high exposure risk and potential long-term health problems.

Asbestos testing is not explicitly required by law in New Jersey for residential properties unless they are undergoing renovation or demolition.

However, regulations may vary depending on the type of property and its intended use. Commercial buildings and certain public facilities may have specific asbestos inspection requirements outlined by federal, state, or local regulations.

Yes, asbestos removal in Tinton Falls, NJ, is often necessary for older homes built before the 1980s, when asbestos was widely used in insulation, flooring, siding, and ceilings. Brick Industries specializes in detecting and safely removing asbestos from aging properties, protecting homeowners from health hazards such as mesothelioma, lung cancer, and other asbestos-related illnesses.

Weather can impact demolition schedules, but most projects can proceed year-round with proper planning. Heavy rain, snow, or ice may delay work for safety reasons, while high winds can restrict crane operations. Some New Jersey municipalities have seasonal restrictions (for example, Margate prohibits demolitions from June 15 to September 15). Brick Asbestos & Demolition closely monitors weather conditions and adjusts schedules as needed to ensure worker safety and project quality. Winter demolitions may require additional precautions for frozen ground or limited daylight hours. We'll discuss seasonal considerations during your consultation and build appropriate weather contingencies into your project timeline.

Foundation removal is typically a separate decision and cost. Some homeowners choose to leave foundations in place if they're building a new structure with a similar footprint, which can help reduce overall expenses. Others prefer complete foundation removal for a clean slate, which involves excavation, concrete breaking, backfilling, and grading. Brick Asbestos & Demolition can handle both approaches—we'll assess your foundation condition and discuss options based on your future plans. If you're unsure, we can initially preserve the foundation and make the removal decision later. Our excavation capabilities mean we can complete foundation removal efficiently if you choose that option.
